How to Export Your Data in Mangobeds

Exporting your data from Mangobeds is a simple and efficient way to manage your bookings, guests, payments, and invoices. Whether you want to analyze trends, back up your data, or share information with your team, exporting to a CSV (or PDF, for invoices) makes the process seamless. Each type of data is exported from the place where you manage it, so you always know where to look.

Where to export each type of data

Step-by-Step Guides

Exporting Bookings

1. Log into your Mangobeds account.
2. Open the Bookings calendar for your property (the home page of the property).
3. Click the Actions dropdown in the top right of the calendar header.
4. Click Export. A dialog opens.
5. Pick the start and end dates, choose Filter by (Staying on dates or Created on dates), pick Simple or Complex export, and tick Include canceled bookings if you need them.
6. Click Export. Mangobeds will generate and download a bookings.csv file.

Exporting Guests

1. Open the Guests app from the Apps section of your property.
2. Click the Export button next to the search bar.
3. In the dialog, pick the start and end dates (this filters by when the guest was created).
4. Click Export. A guests.csv file is generated and downloaded.

Exporting Payments

1. Open the Payments app from the Apps section of your property.
2. Use the date selector at the top of the page to choose the period you want (Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last 365 days, or a custom range).
3. Click the Export button. A payments.csv file is generated and downloaded.

Exporting Invoices

1. Open the Invoices app from the Apps section of your property.
2. Find the Export Invoices section, choose a preset month or pick a custom start and end date.
3. Click Export CSV to download the invoices spreadsheet, or use the Download Invoices section if you prefer a bundle of PDFs.

A note about property groups

If you manage multiple properties under a property group and you are viewing the property-group bookings calendar, the Export option is not yet available there. To export bookings for a property in the group, open that property’s bookings calendar and follow the steps above.

Tips for Managing Your Exported Data

• Regular backups: export your data regularly so you always have a recent copy outside the app.
• Analyze trends: open the CSV in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers to slice bookings by source, payment status, or guest country.
