Booking Portal: One Booking Page for Groups, Chains and Portfolios

3 min read

If you manage several properties, you probably want guests to browse and book all of them from a single page, without jumping between separate booking forms. That is what a Booking Portal does: a multi-property booking engine for your whole Property Group.

Guests land on one page, read about your place, compare your properties and book the one they want. It works for groups, chains, portfolios, and buildings where every unit has its own owner.

Creating a Booking Portal

  1. Open your Property Group
  2. Click Portal in the sidebar
  3. Click Create Booking Portal
  4. Give it a name
  5. Tick the properties the portal should sell. If a property has more than one booking form, pick the one to use
  6. Save

Note: a portal needs at least two properties, and each one needs its own booking form first. Each Property Group has one Booking Portal.

Portal settings

The portal has two tabs.

  • General: the name, the properties in the portal and how the page behaves. Show the properties in a random order shuffles the property cards for every visitor, so no property is always at the top. Hide the map removes the map, which helps when every property shares one address.
  • About: what guests read about your place before they choose a property. Add a title, a description, up to 10 photos, the facilities every guest shares (a pool, a game room, an elevator) and an address, phone and email. Leave it all empty and guests see no About section.

What guests see

Once your Booking Portal is live, guests land on a single page with:

  • The About section, if you filled it in, with your photos, shared facilities and contact details
  • An interactive map of your properties, unless you hid it
  • A search form to pick a property and the number of guests
  • Property cards with the cover image and location of each property

When a guest picks a property, they see the full booking form for that property, so the experience is seamless from browsing to booking.

Adding it to your website

You have two ways to share your Booking Portal with guests.

Share the portal’s link with guests. It works as a standalone page with its own header and contact section, so you can link to it from your website, social media or emails.

Option 2: Embed on your website

Use the embed code to add the portal to your website. When embedded, the header and footer are hidden so it blends in with your site’s design.

Copy the embed code from the portal’s page in Mangobeds and paste it into your website’s HTML where you want it to appear. For more details on embedding, see our guide on getting bookings from your website.

Tips

  • Set coordinates for each property in property settings so they appear correctly on the map.
  • Add a cover image and logo to each property for the best look on the property cards.
  • Use the About tab for what every guest shares. Photos of a single room belong on that property; the lobby, the pool or the street belong in About.
  • Keep booking forms consistent by using similar settings across properties, so the guest experience feels unified.

If you already have a Property Group, creating a Booking Portal takes a couple of minutes. One page, all your properties, ready to book.
