Don’t Miss a Thing: Booking Reminders in Mangobeds

1 min read

Heads up — Reminders are now Tickets. We’ve upgraded Reminders into a more powerful system that handles maintenance jobs, guest requests, incidences, housekeeping issues, and any task at your property — with priorities, assignees, photo attachments, and guest-portal reporting. Anything you used to track as a reminder is now a ticket with a due date. Read the full guide here: Track Maintenance, Guest Requests, Incidences, Tasks, and more with Mangobeds.

What they are

Reminders help you track follow-ups tied to a booking (e.g., “charge the guest on Friday”, “schedule housekeeping”). They live with each booking and surface where you need them, so nothing slips.

  • Status: Pending, Past due, Completed
  • Access: Available on Pro and Premium plans

Create a reminder

  1. Open a booking: Properties → Bookings → open any booking.
  2. Go to the Reminders tab.
  3. Click New.
  4. Fill the form

See due items on the Home page

On your property’s Home, you’ll see a “Due reminders” section with cards for anything due today or earlier (and not completed).

You will be able to jump to the booking to see more details and complete/uncomplete them

Edit a reminder

  1. Open the booking → Reminders tab.
  2. Click the three‑dot menu next to an item → Edit.
  3. Update name or date → Save.

Mark as complete (or undo)

  1. Open the booking → Reminders tab.
  2. Click the three‑dot menu next to an item.
  • If it’s pending/past due, choose Complete.
  • If it’s completed, choose Uncomplete to revert.

The list refreshes and the status badge updates immediately.

Notes:

  • Completed items don’t appear in the Home → “Due reminders” section.
  • You can still edit completed items later if needed.

Conclusion

Reminders keep booking‑related to‑dos visible and actionable:

  • Create them in seconds on any booking.
  • See what needs attention today from the Home page.
  • Edit or mark complete from the booking, no separate task app required.

Use them for payment follow‑ups, guest tasks, housekeeping notes, and anything you don’t want to forget.
