GotoCheck Connection Guide with Mangobeds

GotoCheck handles the paperwork side of check-in: the guest scans their ID and signs the contract from their phone, and GotoCheck files the report with the authorities automatically (SES.Hospedajes and Mossos d’Esquadra in Spain, SIBA in Portugal, Alloggiati Web in Italy and eVisitor in Croatia). Connect it to Mangobeds with one API key and your bookings sync across on their own.

Before you start

You need a GotoCheck account. If you are signing up for the first time, you can choose Mangobeds as your channel manager during sign-up and skip straight to pasting the key.

Step 1: Create your API key in Mangobeds

In Mangobeds, go to Your Organization → Settings → API key and click Create an API key. Copy it; you can come back and view it again later in the same section.

Step 2: Connect it in GotoCheck

If you are signing up, choose Mangobeds as your channel manager and paste the key. If you already have a GotoCheck account, open the dashboard, go to Manage account → Connection information, paste the key there and save.

Step 3: Check your properties

Your properties and confirmed bookings come in on their own within a few minutes. Each bed or room appears as its own unit, grouped under its property.

Step 4: Set up guest registration

Choose the authority that applies to you, such as SES.Hospedajes, Mossos d’Esquadra, Ertzaintza, SIBA or Alloggiati Web, and paste your credentials. GotoCheck’s sign-up wizard asks for these; if you skipped it, you will find them under Police in your property settings.

In GotoCheck, open any unit and copy its single check-in link: it works for every bed and room on that property. In Mangobeds, add that link to your booking confirmation email template, next to the booking number, using the {{BOOKING_ID}} variable.

From there, every guest checks in from their phone before arrival and the report to the authorities goes out on its own.
