Pipedrive Connection Guide with Mangobeds

4 min read

The Pipedrive integration shows your Pipedrive deal pipeline inside Mangobeds, next to your bookings, and lets you move a deal along it or close it from there. Pipedrive stays the one place your deals live.

Why connect Pipedrive rather than use the built-in board

If your team already works in Pipedrive, your pipeline, your activities and your reports are there. Running a second pipeline in another tool would mean keeping two lists in step and checking both every morning.

With the Pipedrive integration your pipeline stays exactly where it is. Mangobeds reads it live, so you can see who is still deciding on the same screen as your calendar, and move them along without switching tabs.

What the Pipedrive integration does

  • Your deals appear in Mangobeds under Apps > CRM, with the stage each one is on, the person behind it, and counts of what is open, won and lost.
  • Your own stages, in your own words. A six-stage pipeline shows as six stages, in the order you set them in Pipedrive.
  • You can move a deal to another stage from Mangobeds, and it moves in Pipedrive too, for everyone on your team.
  • You can mark a deal as won or lost. In Pipedrive, won and lost are a status on the deal rather than a stage, so the deal keeps the stage it was on, exactly as it does when you close it in Pipedrive itself.
  • Or close it and create the booking in one step. The booking form opens with the person’s name, email and phone already filled in, and the deal is marked won when the booking is made.
  • Pipedrive stays the source of truth. Mangobeds keeps no copy of your deals, so there is nothing that can drift out of step.

Step by step: connect the Pipedrive integration

  1. In Mangobeds, open your property and go to Apps > CRM.
  2. Pick Pipedrive, tick that you have read this guide, then click Connect Pipedrive. A Pipedrive window opens.
  3. Sign in to Pipedrive if you are not already.
  4. Pipedrive shows the company the app will be added to and the permissions it asks for. Click Allow and Install.
  5. The window closes on its own and your deals are on the screen.

There is no API token to copy and paste. You approve Mangobeds once, from your own Pipedrive account, and you can remove it there whenever you want.

What Mangobeds does not touch in your account

The consent screen lists two permissions: Deals: Full access and Contacts: Read only. Pipedrive has no “move a deal only” permission, so full access to deals is the smallest one that lets you change a stage from Mangobeds.

What Mangobeds actually does with it is narrow. It reads your pipelines, your deals and the people on them. The only things it ever writes are the stage of a deal you moved yourself, and won or lost on a deal you closed yourself. It never creates a deal, edits a deal’s name or value, deletes anything, or changes a contact. That is why adding, editing and deleting deals are not offered on the CRM screen when Pipedrive is connected: those belong to Pipedrive, and your team does them there.

Frequently asked questions

Which of my pipelines does it show?

The first pipeline in your Pipedrive account, which for most accounts is the only one. The pipeline you are looking at is named on the CRM app’s Settings screen, so you can always check which one it is.

If I change a deal in Pipedrive, does Mangobeds know?

Yes. Mangobeds reads your pipeline from Pipedrive each time you open the screen rather than storing its own version, so what you see is what Pipedrive has.

The deal titles in your connected pipeline. To search by a person’s email or phone, use Pipedrive’s own search.

Why does Mangobeds ask me to reconnect Pipedrive?

Pipedrive ends a connection that has not been used for 60 days, and it also ends if someone removes the app from your Pipedrive account or deletes the pipeline it was showing. In any of those cases the CRM screen shows a Reconnect Pipedrive button. Click it, approve again, and your pipeline comes straight back. Nothing in Pipedrive is lost in between.

Can I use Pipedrive and the Mangobeds board at the same time?

No, and that is on purpose. One system owns your deals. Two copies of the same pipeline is how a stage gets moved in one place, missed in the other, and a lead gets chased twice.

What happens if I disconnect?

The pipeline stops appearing in Mangobeds. Nothing changes in Pipedrive: every deal, person and stage is still there, because it lives in your account and belongs to you. You can connect again whenever you like.

Pipedrive is one of the places the Mangobeds CRM app can keep your pipeline.
