Check24 Channel Manager Connection Guide

Before you connect, review your settings in Mangobeds. Once the channel is active, Mangobeds is the source of truth: your prices, availability, minimum stay and maximum stay are sent to Check24 and replace what is set there, and anything you change on Check24 is overwritten on the next sync. Set the minimum and maximum stay in Channel Manager → Settings (top right), and check each accommodation’s prices, before you activate the channel.

Before you start

  • You need a direct contract with Check24 for the property.
  • In the Check24 Extranet, complete the property setup: details, policies, and images.
  • Once the property is ready, ask Check24 support (via Extranet messaging) to enable the connection to Channex (or enable it yourself if your Extranet has that option).

Create the Check24 channel in Mangobeds

  1. Go to Apps → Channel Manager. You land on the Channels tab
  2. Click Connect and pick Check24
  3. Enter the Hotel ID: the Check24 Hotel ID
  4. Click Test connection
    • If it fails, double check the Hotel ID
    • If it still fails, ask Check24 support to confirm access is enabled for that hotel

Mapping

  1. Click Continue to mapping and point each Check24 room at one of your accommodations. Rates and occupancies are matched up for you behind the scenes, including Check24’s per-occupancy pricing
  2. Make sure nothing is left unmapped; a room left as “Not mapped” is not sold through Mangobeds
  3. Click Create channel. The channel is created inactive, so nothing is synced yet
  4. Activate the channel from its menu when you are ready

Important note about occupancy

  • Check24 prices per occupancy. Mangobeds sends the right rate for each occupancy automatically: per-guest prices where your accommodation has them, the same price at every occupancy where it does not.

Before you connect any channel

Currency, rates and restrictions are set once for every channel, not per OTA, and it is worth getting them right before you connect. Read the channel manager guide for that setup and for every other channel Mangobeds connects to.
