How to Find Your iCal Link on Airbnb

Every Airbnb listing publishes an Airbnb iCal link: a URL that ends in .ics and lists the dates that listing is booked. Paste it into Mangobeds and those dates are blocked on the matching unit, so the same room cannot be sold twice.

Where to find it

  1. Sign in to Airbnb and open Calendar.
  2. Select the listing you want to sync.
  3. Open Availability in the side panel.
  4. Under Connect calendars, choose Connect to another website. (Some accounts show this as Availability settings > Calendar sync > Export calendar.)
  5. Copy the calendar link Airbnb shows you. Each listing has its own.

One listing, one link. If an accommodation in Mangobeds maps to several Airbnb listings, add each listing’s link to its own unit.

New Airbnb connections in Mangobeds use the full sync, not a calendar link: go to Apps > Channel Manager, click Connect and pick Airbnb. You get real reservations with the guest’s details, not only blocked dates.

Already have Airbnb calendar links on your units? They show as an Airbnb card in your channel list. From its menu, Edit links lets you paste a new Airbnb link next to the right unit, and Copy all my links gives you the Mangobeds links to import on Airbnb, so bookings taken in Mangobeds block the dates there too. The same card offers the switch to full sync.

iCal or the channel manager?

iCal is the light option: Airbnb sends dates, and only every few hours. If you want rates and reservations to sync both ways in real time, connect Airbnb through the channel manager instead. Do not run both at once on the same unit.
