How to Find Your iCal Link on Flatio

Every Flatio listing publishes a Flatio iCal link: a URL that lists the dates that listing is booked. Paste it into Mangobeds and those dates are blocked on the matching unit, so the same room cannot be rented twice. Flatio is built for mid-term stays of one to twelve months, which makes a double booking there a costly one.

Where to find your Flatio iCal link

  1. Sign in to your Flatio account as a landlord.
  2. Go to Listings and open the listing you want to sync.
  3. Open the Availability section and find Calendar synchronization.
  4. Under Export, copy the calendar URL shown there.

Renting rooms separately? Flatio does not sync an apartment and its rooms together. Each room has its own calendar, so copy one link per room and match each to its own unit in Mangobeds.

Where to paste it in Mangobeds

  1. In Mangobeds, go to Apps > iCal.
  2. Pick the accommodation, then the unit this listing or room corresponds to.
  3. Click Add source, choose Flatio, and paste the link you copied.
  4. Save. Mangobeds pulls the calendar on a schedule and blocks those dates on the unit.

Send your Mangobeds calendar to Flatio

Syncing the other way matters just as much on Flatio. Copy the unit’s outbound iCal URL from Apps > iCal, then in Flatio go back to Calendar synchronization, choose to import a calendar, and paste it. Bookings taken in Mangobeds or on your other channels then block the dates on Flatio too.

Flatio counts it against your listing when you have to decline a request because the dates were already taken, and that lowers where your listing appears. Keeping both directions connected is what prevents it.

What iCal syncs, and what it does not

iCal only carries dates. A booking made on Flatio arrives in Mangobeds as blocked dates, not as a reservation with the tenant’s name, price or payment, and prices you change in Mangobeds are not sent to Flatio. For long stays from other marketplaces, see how Coliving.com connects with Mangobeds.
