How to Find Your iCal Link on Idealista

2 min read

If you rent rooms through Idealista’s Online Booking, each listing has an Idealista iCal link: a URL that lists the dates that room is booked. Paste it into Mangobeds and those dates are blocked on the matching unit, so the same room cannot be rented twice.

Before you start

Calendar sync comes with Idealista’s Online Booking, which you switch on per room listing from idealista/tools. A regular Idealista ad without Online Booking has no calendar, so there is no link to copy.

Where to find your Idealista iCal link

  1. Sign in to idealista/tools.
  2. In your list of properties, open the room listing that has Online Booking turned on.
  3. Open its Online Booking calendar and find the option to sync the calendar with other platforms by iCal.
  4. Copy the export link. The right one starts with https://www.idealista.com/tools/api/property/calendar/.

Each room has its own link. Copy one per room and match each to its own unit in Mangobeds.

Where to paste it in Mangobeds

  1. In Mangobeds, go to Apps > iCal.
  2. Pick the accommodation, then the unit this room corresponds to.
  3. Click Add source, choose Idealista, and paste the link you copied.
  4. Save. Mangobeds pulls the calendar on a schedule and blocks those dates on the unit.

Send your Mangobeds calendar to Idealista

Copy the unit’s outbound iCal URL from Apps > iCal and add it as an imported calendar in the same Online Booking calendar sync on Idealista. Bookings taken in Mangobeds or on your other channels then block the dates on Idealista too, which matters because Idealista charges the tenant and confirms the stay as soon as you accept a request.

What iCal syncs, and what it does not

iCal only carries dates. A booking made on Idealista arrives in Mangobeds as blocked dates, not as a reservation with the tenant’s name, price or payment, and prices you change in Mangobeds are not sent to Idealista. Renting mid-term on other platforms too? See how to find your iCal link on Flatio.
