How to Connect Spotahome to Mangobeds

Spotahome rents verified rooms and flats for stays of one to twelve months, booked fully online. Spotahome iCal sync keeps those listings in step with Mangobeds: paste the iCal link Mangobeds publishes for each unit into Spotahome, and every stay booked in Mangobeds or on your other channels blocks the same dates on Spotahome, so a tenant cannot book a room that is already taken.

Before you start

  • A Spotahome landlord account with your listings already published.
  • One unit, one listing. Spotahome lists most rooms one by one, so each room listing gets the link of its own unit in Mangobeds.
  • The link goes one way. Spotahome reads your Mangobeds calendar. Its own panel has no link to send its bookings back, so a stay booked on Spotahome is not blocked in Mangobeds by itself (see the last section).

Where to find your Mangobeds iCal link

  1. In Mangobeds, open your property and go to Apps > iCal.
  2. Find the accommodation, then the unit that matches the Spotahome listing.
  3. Copy the Export link on that unit with the copy button next to it.

Every unit has its own link. The link holds no guest data, only the dates the unit is taken.

Paste it into Spotahome

  1. Sign in to the Spotahome Landlord Panel.
  2. Select the listing you want to sync and click Edit.
  3. Click Availability and choose the iCalendar integration option.
  4. Paste the Mangobeds export link and save.
  5. Repeat for every listing, each with the link of its own unit.

When a tenant books on Spotahome

Spotahome does not publish a calendar link of its own from the Landlord Panel; they offer one through their support team if you ask. Until you have one, add each confirmed Spotahome stay in Mangobeds as a booking, or block the dates on the unit, as soon as you accept it. That keeps the room closed on Airbnb, Booking.com and the rest of your channels.

If Spotahome support gives you a link, add it in Apps > iCal as a new source on the same unit, and Spotahome bookings block the dates in Mangobeds by themselves.

What iCal syncs, and what it does not

  • Dates only. Prices, minimum stays and descriptions you change in Mangobeds are not sent to Spotahome.
  • Not instant. Spotahome reads the link on its own schedule, not the second a booking lands, so a very last-minute booking can still overlap.
